Absolutely real. He goes genuinely crazy and that reaction is pure fear. I'm sure they drove the car around a bit afterwards to get some high-quality footage for the vid, but that hardly makes it 'fake.'

None of the outside shots were with Travis in the car. So was the ride really that crazy sliding rally drift job they made it out to be? Or was it merely Travis being kidnapped by a convict and driven around recklessly with exciting but fake exterior shots?

I also have a hard time believing a multi-billion dollar corporation like Pepsico and Gawker would accept the liability.

I'm with you. I believe it was both.

They filmed some of the practice runs for some exiting footage to mix in with the actual prank scenes.

Now, if Travis can get to work and figure out who was doing that driving, that would be great.
